Found you a few years ago online, searching for horse rescues . Very positive deep impression, so when I saw you on facebook , I made it a habit to see what was happening there. Love all the good work that you do, hope it inspires many other similar rescues all over the country!

About Me

We are personal trainers living in monterey california. Hiring a personal trainer can be affordable, with affordable prices that can fit every person's pocketbook. We have seen and firmly believe that “your health is your wealth” and you should invest wisely. Getting fit and working out is simple but it’s not easy, a large part of your fitness regimen is accountability.

As personal trainers we spend many early mornings working out and training others. We start the day with a good cup of Boresha Skinny Tea. For years we have been fans of Boresha Skinny Tea, as well as Skinny Coffee. A friend introduced us to Boresha many years ago and we have been hooked ever since.

About Me

Hi,

I'm a retired US Army medic living in Tucson AZ.  I own All American Media, a local Tucson internet marketing company.  We help small to medium businesses here in Tucson get found on the internet.

You don't even have to have a website to have a presence on the internet and to garner local tucson customers.  We have a simple, cost effective approach to organic, green internet marketing.

Thanks for taking a look at my profile :)

About Me

I like horses and horse people and I am trying to fit them into my life again.  I've owned two wonderful geldings over the years, one of which was a rescue.

I am happily fostering Oleander.

About Me

My name is Caitlin Morris, and I participate in the Foster Care Program at Days End Farm. My father introduced me to Days End Farm Horse Rescue as a birthday present.  Being as much of a horse lover as I am, I totally loved it. It was the best present I had ever gotten. I started the Foster Care Program at the old farm in December '07 with a horse named Fibi. Fibi  was an 18 year old Quarter Horse mare that was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which is a lung disease that resembles human asthma. This caused her to cough constantly.  Fibi was truly of the love of my life. I loved her from first sight. I would come out every weekend to groom and spend time with her. I remember occasionally (when out in the field) I would get her mixed up with Obie  (another horse) that looked almost exactly like her. They were like twins! Unfortunately, Fibi passed in February '08. Shortly after, Obie was adopted.

I miss Fibi terribly, but I think shes watching over me like my own "horse guardian angel". Shes always with me in my heart and I will remember her dearly.  After her death, I moved on to a new foster horse. I then fostercared Darlin, a gelding at DEFHR. He didn't have a foster yet, and I knew he could some love and extra attention. I was excited to take care of him. He was quite the gentlemen when being groomed. He had arthritis in his back legs so I had to be pretty careful picking his hooves. I fostercared him for almost two months. He left for his new home in March '08. I was glad that he went to a dedicated and loving family that would give him all the love and attention he deserves.

Then again I moved to a new foster horse. This time, it was a success story horse. A horse that had been through many months of healing and rehabilitating  that turned out to be a very loved and "popular" horse. Her name is Tinkerbell. She was one of DEFHR's success stories. Her story can be found of the front page of the DEFHR website. Tinkerbell is a 20 yr. old red roan QH mare. She has a lot of personality. She can be pushy, but shes a sweetheart. Shes quite the "prima donna". She's a hit at giving kids pony rides and is an attraction at many parades and fairs. She loves egg and spoon races! I still fostercare Tinkerbell to this day, and I am very grateful to be taking care of such a wonderful horse at such a wonderful farm. I hope to become a volunteer soon. DEFHR is truly a horse haven and a human heaven. They've done so much for the lives of horses, and words cannot explain. I love DEFHR. Thank you DEFHR! :)
